The Bulldog Baseball Philosophy

Updated: Jul 14, 2019

We believe that athletics provide the perfect arena for young ballplayers to learn the balance of attitude, determination, and enthusiasm required to be successful in all walks of life.

We believe in joy. We believe that sports, especially youth sports, should be fun. We understand the potential for frustration that exists whenever people try new things, learn new techniques, or compete and we believe in creating an environment where those experiences produce laughter, encouragement, and camaraderie.

We believe in competition and the importance of experiencing both the joy of winning and the pain of defeat. But while the scoreboard keeps its tally, we focus on pushing our ballplayers to do the best they can in every game, every practice, every drill, and every interaction with teammates and opponents. If you have done the best you can, then you have been successful regardless of the final score.

We believe that anyone can play. We will work with any ballplayer and their family to make sure that anyone who is willing to do their best and treat their teammates and coaches the way the want to be treated will be a valued member of our team
